I've eaten at Giovanni's dozens of times in the past year. Every visit I leave
more full, and in a better mood than I went in. Giovanni's pizza is delicious, the staff is incredibly friendly, they deliver on-time, and don't make you wait! Jeff Pizza - thin crust - New Haven style- mcody. While this is not going to overthrow Pepe's, Modern or the other New Haven landmark, this Glastonbury favorite serves up great pies. The staff are friendly and cute, the service is quick, and the pizza is delicious.
Michael Take-out or dine-in, Giovanni's pizza is my first choice in the Glastonbury area. Their service and food is always excellent, although it can get busy at peak hours and in good weather. They have recently (within the past year) expanded their indoor dining area to accommodate more customers. Great service, I don't see any problem with the servers; go to any high school and you'll see girls in skimpier clothing bobbing their heads to Lady Gaga. If they occasionally handle these pizzas' divine ingredients bare-handed that's fine with me, I have an active immune system. Don't listen to the bad review(s) below, anyone who actually eats at Papa Gino's is unlikely to appreciate this great pizza. Best New York style pizza around, with awesome wings and at great prices. (Slices after 8pm are half price!) When I looked for an apartment last winter, I chose one just down the street. ;)
Chad The food is delicious and fresh everytime...the portions are HUGE, many slices to choose from, older women is not friendly but everyone else is!!! A girl with a tattoo is the most uplifting spirit ive met and actually makes my day better!!! Blond manager and her sister are the best waitresses ive ever had out of all the places ive eaten at..hands down. All the girls are fast and helpful. My children get free cookies balloons and toys upon every visit. Eating here with the family is like a breath of fresh air. Owner and managers are smart and generous. Liked: Food, Service, Atmosphere, Value, Pies, Crust, Pizza
